Dawn VanderWerf is the Director of Single Parent Missions, a ministry headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dawn is Co-founder of the Single Parenting Summit, the only event of it's kind in the U.S. and the U.K., and author of Hope Notes, daily encouragements for single parents read by subscribers worldwide. Co-author of The Daddy Gap and a single mom herself for almost six years, Dawn is passionate about encouraging single parents and envisioning and equipping leaders to respond to the growing population of one-parent families. Dawn is happily remarried and lives in Hudsonville, Michigan with her husband Steve and their shared kids.

Caroline Chalkley is the Single Parents Pastor at New Life Bible Church in Harrow, England and the founder of Fresh Start, a program that has been serving single parent families in her area for years. A pioneer for single parent ministry in the UK, Caroline leads Fresh Start with her husband Clive and has a passion for reaching more families in their country. As a single mom herself for many years, Caroline understands the unique challenges and has a vision to bless others parenting alone with the same comfort that she received.

Katie Payano is the Global Expansion and Inclusion Director at Single Parent Missions in addition to her full time career in banking. Katie has been a single mom for almost five years, knows the struggle is real, and seeks to give hope to others like herself who are hurting. A former missionary to the Dominican Republic, Katie is bilingual and has a heart for reaching out to single parents and kids of all nationalities and letting them know they are not alone. Katie currently lives in Grandville, Michigan with her two young boys.
